When should we schedule a furnace cleaning?

Heating equipment should be cleaned once a year. This is typically done in autumn, but it doesn’t matter when it is done. The time of year is not critical, and the equipment doesn’t need to be running already. Just like a vehicle inspection, it doesn’t matter when your furnace service is done; it’s just important that it is done.

How much is a heating or cooling service call?

Costs range from $150 - $225 depending upon the type of equipment, fuel used and number of units per house/building. This does not include the cost of additional repairs. If your service technician determines that repairs are needed, they will let you know upfront how much the repairs will cost and whether they can be completed immediately or will need to be scheduled later.

How much does a new furnace/boiler heating system cost?

Replacing a heating system varies depending upon the type of system you buy – hot water or forced air – and what fuel type it may use. Expect the costs to be $5,000 to $10,000.
